Job Description

We’re seeking a strategic and growth-oriented Vice President of Marketing and Product Strategy to lead marketing strategy, execution, and team development across the organization. This leader will play a key role in driving business growth by aligning customer insights, product strategy, brand positioning, and marketing investments to measurable business outcomes.

The ideal candidate brings a balance of strategic thinking and operational leadership, with the ability to influence across the enterprise, translate complex business objectives into actionable marketing strategies, and build high‑performing teams.

Reporting to senior leadership, the VP of Marketing and Product Strategy will serve as a trusted business partner to leaders across the Credit Union while championing an exceptional member experience.

Your Impact

Lead the strategic direction and execution of the Credit Union’s marketing, brand, public relations, communications, and customer experience functions to support enterprise growth objectives.

Own the Credit Union’s marketing, branding, and customer experience strategies, ensuring consistent positioning, messaging, and experience delivery across all customer segments, business lines, channels, and partner relationships.

Translate business strategies into comprehensive marketing and growth plans that drive customer acquisition, engagement, retention, advocacy, and product adoption across consumer, business, lending, and partner‑driven channels.

Provide strategic marketing leadership across all lines of business, including Retail Banking, Home Lending, Dealer Direct, Business Services, and other customer‑facing offerings.

Develop and execute Retail deposit product strategies, including pricing, positioning, lifecycle management, and growth initiatives, to drive acquisition, engagement, retention, and portfolio growth.

Partner with business line, operational, and channel leaders to align marketing, product strategy, and customer experience initiatives while ensuring effective execution across frontline delivery and customer touchpoints.

Leverage voice‑of‑customer insights, analytics, market research, and behavioral data to inform marketing strategies, product decisions, customer experience improvements, and enterprise growth initiatives.

Establish performance metrics and reporting frameworks to evaluate marketing effectiveness, product performance, customer engagement, and return on investment, providing actionable insights to executive leadership.

Lead and develop the Marketing and Product Strategy team, including talent development, performance management, departmental planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and alignment with enterprise priorities.

Your Qualifications

10+ years of progressive experience in marketing, product strategy, or related functions, including responsibility for enterprise marketing strategy, brand, and growth initiatives.

Experience developing and executing product strategies, including pricing, positioning, and performance management.

Strong understanding of deposit or consumer banking products preferred.

5+ years of leadership experience managing and developing teams.

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, Communications, or a related field. Equivalent combination of education and professional experience may be considered.

Your Work Setting

This role partners closely with leaders across the Credit Union and leads a hybrid team. Given the collaborative nature of the position and regular in‑person leadership meetings, the successful candidate will be expected to work onsite at our Seattle Headquarters (Northgate neighborhood) at least two days per week, typically Mondays and Wednesdays.
