Job description
For our client, we are seeking a VP, Operations - OnPrem Power & Mobility to join the team of a leader in the Real Estate & Construction space.
This leader will own operational execution for a specialized business focused on energy, power, and mobility initiatives within a complex real estate environment. The role partners closely with senior leadership to shape priorities, strengthen governance, and improve cross-functional coordination across the organization. This is a highly visible position that combines strategic advising, team leadership, and process discipline to drive clarity, alignment, and performance.
Location: New York, NY - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $232,000 – $290,000 annually
Responsibilities
Serve as a strategic advisor to the Global Head of the business unit
Collaborate with leadership to set and implement strategic priorities
Represent the unit in engagements with executives, partners, and stakeholders
Coordinate execution of priorities across various internal functions
Manage a team overseeing critical energy projects and business frameworks
Oversee operational processes and goal-setting mechanisms
Enhance clarity in organizational structures and cross-functional integration
Develop communications and practices that promote the team's culture
Qualifications
10+ years driving strategic initiatives in relevant business lines
10+ years managing cross-functional programs with diverse stakeholders
5+ years supporting executive leadership in an operational capacity
5+ years leading teams on high-impact projects
Proven ability to establish processes for governance and performance measurement
