Job description

Financial Additions is partnering with a relationship-focused Texas banking client seeking an experienced Commercial Lender with a strong background in C&I lending . This role is ideal for a lender who enjoys developing long-term relationships with business owners, understanding their businesses, and providing thoughtful financing solutions rather than taking a transactional approach to lending.
Responsibilities
Develop, manage, and grow a portfolio of commercial banking relationships with an emphasis on C&I lending.
Generate new business through networking, referrals, centers of influence, and community involvement.
Structure and negotiate commercial credit facilities based on client needs and risk considerations.
Analyze financial statements, cash flow, collateral, and overall creditworthiness.
Prepare and present credit requests for approval.
Manage existing relationships and proactively identify additional banking needs.
Partner with treasury management and other areas of the bank to deepen relationships.
Maintain strong portfolio quality and proactively manage credit risk.
Qualifications
Proven commercial lending experience with meaningful C&I exposure.
Strong business-development and relationship-management skills.
Solid understanding of commercial credit, underwriting, and loan structuring.
Established network and/or demonstrated ability to generate new relationships.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Community or regional banking experience is a plus.
