Who You’ll Work With
We are looking for a Senior Java Developer (AWS) to join our team in Chicago on a hybrid schedule (2 days/week in-office). In this role, you will work as a true hands‑on engineer to actively code and ship software daily. We need someone with strong Java and AWS expertise who thrives on taking end‑to‑end ownership of enterprise‑scale solutions—from initial design all the way through production support.
What You’ll Do
Write, review, and deliver scalable enterprise-level backend code using Java and Spring Boot .
Design, build, and integrate secure, highly performant APIs for core business services.
Implement and maintain cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, ECS, RDS, etc.)
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
10+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on backend application development
8-10 years of hands‑on Java development experience
Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, and REST APIs
Nice-to-Haves
Excellent communication skills
