DECK MANAGER FOR VIRGIN VOYAGESISMIRA Agency actively recruiting for position DECK MANAGER for Virgin Voyages!WORK CONDITIONS:Work on board brand new company vesselsBe a part of special Virgin Voyage's lifestyle and philosophy and grow togetherContract length - 4-6 months for most positions, for entry positions - 7 monthsFree food, accommodation, coffee + soft drinks and also wifi (though limited speed) for crewThe employer is going to provide or reimburse expenses for the following: STCW certification, joining tickets, pre-employment medical examination (PEME), necessary visas, joining expenses, such as transfers, hotel accommodations, subsistenceRESPONSIBILITIES:Responsible for managing the housekeeping & presentation of passenger cabins within their areas at all timesCarries out cabin checks, ensuring all standards are maintained and procedures followedMonitor work & rest hours of Cabin Attendants and Assistants and implements work schedules in line with theseInteract with our Sailors and provide epic serviceReport any feedback to the Assistant Executive HousekeeperAssist in the handling and distribution of Sailor luggage on embarkation / disembarkation daysAssist the Assistant Executive Housekeeper in maintaining an accurate inventory of all Housekeeping materials such as linen, cleaning products, machinery, etc. and creates purchase orders as necessaryKeep all cleaning equipment well maintained and report and defectsMonitor and trains in compliance to all USPH cleaning and sanitation procedures throughout the assigned area and notifies Assistant Executive Housekeeper of any shortfallsREQUIREMENTS:At Virgin, your personality matters as much as how good you are at what you do.
