Upholsterer PositionISMIRA Agency is actively recruiting for the position of Upholsterer for Virgin Voyages!The Upholsterer is to assist the Carpenter Supervisor in the completion of day to day tasks involved in the daily operation.Work ConditionsWork on board brand new company vessels Scarlet Lady, Valiant Lady, Resilient Lady (ship #4 will happen later on!)Be a part of special Virgin Voyage's lifestyle and philosophy and grow togetherContract length - 4-6 months for most positions, for entry positions - 7 monthsFree food, accommodation, coffee + soft drinks and also wifi (though limited speed) for crewThe employer is going to provide or reimburse expenses for the following:STCW certificationJoining ticketsPre-Employment Medical Examination (PEME)Necessary VisasJoining expenses, such as transfers, hotel accommodations, subsistenceResponsibilitiesUpholstery jobs on the furniture and items throughout the ShipEnsure the cleanliness and operation of the Upholstery workshop, equipment, inventory, and consumablesPerform emergency dutiesResponsible for inventory, cleanliness, and functionality of assigned toolsEnsure that assigned maintenance and repair is reported in closed-loop communication with SupervisorEnsure necessary records are accurately maintainedEffectively communicates and collaborates with other departmentsParticipate in inspections, training, meetings, and functions as necessaryOther duties and tasks as assignedRequirementsMinimum 21 years oldMinimum 2 years experience as Upholsterer onboard a Cruise ship.Recognized qualificationAll certificates as required by the STCW code for this position.Good command of the English LanguageNote: Nationalities that we can process:You can submit your Resume here pushing APPLY TO POSITION button below In case you are not sure what position to apply, you can always upload your CV to general application here: updated: August 09, 2023
