As a WHEN , you would work independently as part of the hospital coverage team .
Provide evening,night, weekend, and holiday coverage for inpatients.
Serve as the on-site or on-call provider for urgent medical issueswhen the primary rehab physicians are off duty.
Evaluate and treat acute medical concerns (e.g., pain,fever, hypertension, shortness of breath, mental status changes).
Determine when a condition can be managedon-site versus when transfer to acutecare (hospital) is necessary
Perform procedures within credentialedprivileges.
Provideadvanced life support as needed (ACLS certified).
Ensure documentation meets legal, regulatory, and billing standards .
Comply with hospital policies and procedures,including infection control ,and safety protocols .
