Wallcovering Designer – Commercial & High-End Residential
Job Title: Wallcovering Designer

Position Overview:
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Wallcovering Designer to develop distinctive wallcovering collections and custom designs for commercial and high-end residential projects . The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of surface pattern design, color, materials, and current interior design trends, with the ability to translate concepts into commercially viable wallcovering designs.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop original wallcovering patterns, prints, textures, and custom designs for commercial and luxury residential interiors.
Collaborate with interior designers, architects, clients, and sales teams to understand project requirements and design concepts.
Create design concepts, colorways, repeats, patterns, and presentation boards.
Research current trends in interiors, textiles, fashion, architecture, and surface design.
Develop custom wallcovering solutions based on project specifications, dimensions, and aesthetic requirements.
Prepare production-ready artwork and technical specifications for manufacturing.
Select and coordinate colors, textures, materials, and finishes.
Review samples, strike-offs, proofs, and finished products to ensure design accuracy and quality.
Maintain organized design files, specifications, and product documentation.
Work closely with vendors and manufacturers to resolve production and technical issues.
Support the development of seasonal and new product collections.
Ensure designs meet commercial requirements while maintaining a premium, high-end aesthetic.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Interior Design, Textile Design, Surface Pattern Design, Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field .
2+ years of experience in wallcovering, textiles, surface pattern, interior products, or a related design field.
Strong portfolio demonstrating pattern, color, and surface design capabilities.
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite , particularly Photoshop and Illustrator.
Strong understanding of pattern repeats, scale, colorways, and print production.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work within project deadlines and client specifications.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience designing for luxury residential, hospitality, commercial, or high-end interior design projects .
Knowledge of wallpaper and wallcovering manufacturing processes.
Experience with custom wallcoverings and bespoke design projects.
Knowledge of textile materials, printing techniques, finishes, and substrates.
Experience working with architects, interior designers, and luxury brands.
