Job description
Position Summary
The Warehouse Team Member is responsible for the safe and efficient movement, storage, and handling of raw materials and finished goods within a manufacturing environment. This role operates powered industrial equipment to support production, shipping, and inventory accuracy while adhering to safety, quality, and productivity standards.
Essential Functions
Operate powered industrial trucks (e.g., forklift, clamp truck) and other equipment to load, unload, move, stack, and stage materials and finished goods. Manual movement of materials is also required.
Perform pack-out activities, including strapping, wrapping, labeling, and preparing products for shipment
Transport finished goods to designated warehouse locations and ensure proper storage
Supply production areas with required materials in a timely manner
Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments in accordance with established procedures when required
Maintain accurate counts and complete required documentation for inventory and shipments
Follow written work instructions and meet established quality and efficiency standards
Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and drivers to coordinate workflow
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with 5S standards
Comply with all company safety policies and procedures
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Ability to obtain certification for powered industrial truck (forklift)
Basic reading, writing, and math skills sufficient to follow instructions and complete documentation
Ability to work overtime as required
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Ability to lift, carry, and balance up to 35 pounds
Ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds
Frequent stooping, bending, and reaching
Work Environment
Manufacturing and warehouse setting with exposure to moving equipment, varying temperatures, and moderate noise levels
Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required
Additional Requirements
Ability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week, with additional hours as needed to support operation
Hours
2nd Shift Hours: 4pm - 12:30am
3rd Shift Hours: 12:00am - 8:30am
