Job description
Warehouse AgentEnsure timely and accurate receiving, locating and sending of freight and information, conforming to safety standards and requirements as set by Expeditors.Responsibilities and TasksCoordinate all work activities relating to processing freight flow (in- & outbound);Receive goods and check freight for correct quantity, quality and possible damages;Picking, checking and loading pallets for outgoing freightGood knowledge of handling various internal means of transport ;Loading and unloading of trucks by use of a forklift and/or electric pump trucks;Create OSD reports and ensure correct completion;Checking cargo manifests and assign to the Warehouse Agent Senior or Lead;Perform double checks on the freight, ULDs, references & AWB numbers;Perform Dangerous Goods and/or Lithium checks (if in possession of IATA DG Certificate);Different contouring, such as building and breaking down of ULDs;Adhere to security and compliance rules as set up by Expeditors;Ensure a safe work environmentMeet KPI standards in accordance with the Company's procedureMaintain a clean work environment, all transport systems, storage areas, work places.Meet compliance at all times to regulations internal and external in accordance with government regulationsEscalation of problems to Management when necessaryDaily process and input of all customer orders and distribution accounts.Provide daily operational reports that are accurate and timely.Generate all related paperwork and necessary information required for customer work orders, check all orders for special requests and posts inventory records.Perform accurate and timely data entry for receiving order allocation, shipping and inventory management.Rate domestic transportation bills.Trace orders as required and notify customers of any activity concerning their order.Ensure accurate and timely client and vendors billing.Maintain strong relationships with vendors (trucking companies, and others).Provide support with other miscellaneous projects, filing and researchTimely and Accurate Shipment ProcessingTimely and Accurate Data EntryTimely and Accurate Billing and AccountingQualificationsGlobal logistics industry knowledgeSoftware proficiency (e.g., MS Excel, MS Word)English language proficiencyPreferred Forklift Truck license.Additional InformationExpeditors offers excellent benefits:Health PlanEmployee Stock Purchase PlanTraining and Personnel Development ProgramEmployee Referral Program BonusBike to work scheme
