Warehouse AgentThe Warehouse Agent will be responsible for accepting incoming freight from Expeditors service providers, verifying accuracy of loads, labeling freight, loading outbound trucks and ocean containers.Major Duties and Responsibilities for Warehouse Agent:Review, Approve and process Driver visitsUnload freightOnhand & label freight (within 1 hour of actual receipt)Organize & scan documents received from service providersStage freightLoad freightClean warehouse dailyManage email requests from operations and customersSafely and efficiently operate lift equipment (Sit down lift, stand up lift and reach truck)Warehouse Agent Personnel Development:Focus on and complete the goals outlined by supervisorComplete assigned training in a timely mannerWork and learn other responsibilities to assist when needed while maintaining a positive team attitudeProvide additional coverage when fellow employees are absent due to vacation or illnessDrive process improvement by sharing "best practices" and embracing new technologiesService Provider & Customer Relationships:Build rapport with local service providers, Expeditors employees & customersPosition Title: Cross Dock Warehouse Agent - 11am - 8pm Shift Mon-FriPosition Hours: 11 AM - 8PMPeer Positions: Warehouse AgentReporting Structure:Patrick Glover - Cross Dock Supervisor, Shawn Sparrow - Distribution/Warehouse SupervisorSpecial Notes:This current job description is not limited to the items listed aboveExpeditors offers excellent benefits:Paid Vacation (first year prorated based off month of hire then eligible for 15 days annually)Annual Paid Holidays (10)Flexible Days (2 offered each Jan 1st)Paid Sick Time (accrual rate of 1 hour of sick time per 30 hours paid, unused rolls over)401(k) Retirement Savings Plan with employer matchEmployee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP)2 types of Medical, Prescription Drug, Dental & Vision CoverageOptional Health Savings Account (HSA)Life and Disability InsurancePaid Parental Leave (additional eligibility criteria)Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account (DC FSA)Employee Assistance Program (EAP)Position is full time (40 hours per week) Monday through FridayBy clicking the link above or any third-party link within this posting, you are leaving this site and going to a third-party website where the third-party website's terms and privacy policy applyJob Location
