Job description
Warehouse-Assembly WorkerLight assembly and kitting of elevator parts. With use of hand tools assembly position will assemble and kit multiple products to meet production quantities and shipping dates as well as packaging, labeling and quality control requirements of customer.Reports to: Assembly SupervisorMinimum Qualifications:Able to use hand tools and light electrical toolsAbility to read simple drawings and spreadsheet BOM'sAbility to read measurements accuratelyFollow work instructions to build kits out of electrical fittingsFollow work instructions to cut flexible metal conduit to lengthFollow work instructions to cut din rail to lengthPull customer orders according to pick ticketsFollow management instructions regarding work instructionsPreferred Qualifications: Prior assembly history a plusAdditional Competencies:Attention to detailAbility to follow instructions and processesWorking Conditions:Dedicated work spaces for each assemblerAssembly in non climate controlled warehouse.
