Position Summary
Join our warehouse team at URBN. Warehouse Associates will support daily operations by receiving, picking, packing, and shipping merchandise while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards.
Responsibilities
Receive, pick, pack, and ship merchandise
Follow safety and compliance standards
Follow work instructions and productivity standards
Operate RF scanners, computers, and touchscreens
Work effectively independently and as part of a team
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications
Warehouse or manufacturing experience is a plus
Ability to follow instructions and meet productivity standards
Comfortable using warehouse technology
Reliable attendance and ability to work as scheduled
Physical Requirements
Stand and walk throughout the shift
Bend, kneel, crouch, reach, pull, and push as needed
Lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds
Safely operate warehouse equipment as required

Job description:
We are urgently hiring for a weekend shift yard jockey! Saturday and Sunday 7:00AM - 2:30 PM (with other fill-in opportunities). If you are a qualified candidate, we want to speak with you!
A Yard Jockey is responsible for ensuring compliance of safety and quality regulations while performing various tasks including moving trailers as directed by management, maneuvering vehicles in tight spaces, lifting and opening trailer doors, and maintaining equipment cleanliness. Effective communication, equipment operation, time management, and the ability to work independently are essential. In addition, they must be open to cross-training opportunities, and maintaining a flexible schedule is essential.Role Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with all safety and quality guidelines and regulations.
Move empty trailers to shipping doors, set loaded trailers to the doors, and remove loaded/empty trailers from dock doors as directed by Management and/or Yard management system.
Safely maneuver a tractor and trailer combination vehicle in a compact yard area.
Safely enter and exit the yard tractor numerous times per shift.
Safely maneuver equipment with good backing skills.
Transport trailers between two facilities located across the street from one another.
Lift and open trailer doors.
Maintain the tractor in a clean, sanitary condition.
Conduct daily inspection of trailers and keep yard in order during shift.
Maintain trailer inventory and ensure proper trailer seals.
Assist in warehouse responsibilities as needed, including forklift operation.
Perform other tasks within the employee's training and skills as directed by the supervisor and/or department manager.
Effectively communicate with all team members as well as with leads and supervisors of other departments.
Complete assignments in the time allotted.
Fulfill all other duties assigned by Supervisor and/or Manager.
Role Qualifications and Physical Requirements:
Must be 18 years or older
High school degree or GED required
Must have a valid Class A, CDL
Must have a current DOT physical
Must have an acceptable driving record
Must have a minimum of 1 year experience in the operation of a tractor-trailer unit in a yard driver setting
Maintain acceptable attendance and must be able to work overtime as required
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
Ability to manipulate a keyboard for extended periods of time
Climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl
Ability to use a computer for extended periods of time
Lift freight and other objects of various shapes, sizes and weights up to 55 pounds
Operate warehouse equipment as required for position (i.e. forklift, pallet jack, cherry picker) which requires coordinated movements
