Location: Kent, WA Type: Part-time, Hourly
Compensation: $24/hr
Reports to: Head of Warehouse Operations and Fulfillment
About Save Trees ? Save Trees is on a mission to disrupt the $30B+ US paper industry and end the deforestation cycle caused by traditional paper products. Household and business paper consumption accounts for 20% of global deforestation, and we're changing that by making tree-free paper the new standard.
We launched in 2019 with high-quality bamboo paper products and have been on a roll ever since. We're growing rapidly, profitable, and running lean with a high-performing team.
The Role We are looking for a warehouse associate to assist in the day-to-day operations of our Kent, Washington warehouse. This is a hands-on role focused on three major parts of our warehouse operations:
Fulfillment: Fulfilling daily customer orders
Inbounding: Helping with the unloading of inbound containers
Outbounding: Accurately loading outbound trucks and shipments according to scheduled and assigned freight
You'll work directly with our warehouse team to make sure products get received, fulfilled, and shipped Safely, Efficiently, and Accurately every day.
What You'll Own Daily fulfillment: Pick, pack, label, and prepare daily orders across Direct-to-consumer, Business-to-business, and Amazon fulfillment channels.
Inbound container unloading: Unloading incoming freight and safely receiving, moving and organizing incoming inventory.
Outbound truck loading: Stage and load outbound pallets and shipments, ensuring trucks and containers are loaded safely, efficiently and accurately.
Verify order quantities and pallet counts against Bills of Lading and/or packing slips before shipments leave the warehouse.
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to move, stack, and stage inventory.
Maintain accurate fulfillment and inventory records using Save Trees' warehouse and shipping systems.
Participate in inventory counts and help maintain accurate warehouse inventory.
Keep warehouse floors, packing stations, equipment, and loading areas clean and organized.
Follow warehouse safety procedures and complete daily equipment inspections.
Who You Are You're dependable, punctual, and ready to work.
You're comfortable working in a fast-paced, physical warehouse environment.
You're a self-motivated problem solver who finds a way to get things done.
You can regularly lift, push, pull, and carry boxes weighing 40+ lbs.
1–2 years of warehouse, fulfillment, shipping/receiving, or similar experience preferred.
Forklift operating experience required, with an active certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire.
Compensation & Growth $24/hour (hourly)
Part-time, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM–3:00 PM, with opportunities for additional hours.
