Job description
Warehouse ClerkThe Warehouse Clerk will be responsible for performing warehouse and inventory control duties in a safe, efficient and accurate manner. This position will have to produce computer records, reports, bills as required.ResponsibilitiesPull orders from stock; Conduct physical product inventoriesReceive and inbound product/unload inbound productShip outbound product/load outbound productComplete and maintain paperwork and records as requiredInput data into computer system and pull off bills, reports, otherMaintain food safety and quality of deliveriesAssist with sanitation and housekeeping of the facilityCreate all transfer ordersEnsures trucks with product or material are both offloaded and loaded properlyEnsures all shipments are shipped out both accurately and timelyConduct End of Month physical inventoryOther duties assigned by managementExperiencePallet Jack experience (Electric and Manual)Ability to maintain recordsComputer experience (Microsoft Word, Excel, etc).Physical DemandsUnder 1/3 Standing timeWalk, Climb or balanceStoop/kneel/crouch/crawlTaste or smell1/3 to 2/3 Use hands to finger/handle/feel, Reach with hands and armsOver 2/3: Sit, See, Talk or hearAbility to frequently lift up to 50lbsWork EnvironmentWork is performed outdoors and inside a vehicleRegular exposure to various weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and snowThis position follows a standard weekly schedule, however, weekend work may be required based on business needs.Equal Opportunity StatementAt GA Foods, we are deeply committed to the principles of equal employment opportunity.
