Job description
Position Overview: The Warehouse Clerk is responsible of receiving inbound goods, unloading trucks, performing inspection as required, puts-away, picks items for orders and packs, wraps and labels for shipment using handheld scanner, completes appropriate paperwork for receiving, stock locating and shipping. Other duties include basic housekeeping.Job Duties DistributionReceivingReceives and inspects external packaging of all incoming shipments for damage and documents any damageScans inbound goods and routes to receiving inspection areaReceives and processes returned goods (RMA’s)Receives foreign and domestic stock, then places into appropriate receiving area or warehouse locationReceive Container shipments, UPS Delivers, and other deliveriesInspect products per requirementsWarehouseKeeps areas designated for picking/packing/staging clear of other itemsMaintain order in the warehouseReplenish shelves with stockDispose of obsolete items in warehouse per management directionCycle count stock as requiredAdvise purchasing when min/max supply is lowCheck and maintain exterior areas of grounds for debrisPaint, clean or touch up stock as neededMaintain housekeeping standards, which including sweeping, cleaning dock and packing areas, garbage pickupPerform other duties as assignedOrder ProcessingPicks finished products. Wraps and packs in containers as per required standardsDetermines the most cost-efficient bundling of items, (i.e., palletizing, or individual packages)Pick/Pack truck ordersPick/Pack package deliveries (UPS, etc.)Change or add labels to various products according to customer ordersProcess small orders using UPS WorldShip SystemClose out UPS WorldShip System at the end of the dayWork overtime as neededJob Qualifications RequiredBilingual in Spanish a plusHigh School / GED equivalent or higherWarehouse and Forklift Operation experienceFamiliarity with RF ScannerComputer literateAbility to troubleshoot and resolve work-related issuesDetailed oriented with the ability to perform multiple tasks in fast moving environmentAbility to work as a teamAbility to lift 25-50lbs regularlyAbility to work overtime as neededAbility to use hand tools and tape measureAbility to work between locations, as neededBenefitsCompetitive Salary based on experienceEntry Range: $20.00—$21.00Medical, Dental, Vision, Short-term disability, Paid time off, AFLAC401k with company match
