This role involves order processing, checking and receiving merchandise, stocking, inventory management, and performing general warehouse duties.Responsibilities as a Warehouse Clerk:Order Processing:Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently.Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.Receiving Merchandise:Inspect and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.Unload and unpack merchandise, checking for damages and discrepancies.Record received items in the inventory management system.Stocking:Organize and stock merchandise in designated areas.Ensure all items are stored in an orderly and accessible manner.Replenish stock as needed to maintain inventory levels.Inventory Management:Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.Assist in inventory audits and cycle counts.Maintain accurate inventory records.General Warehouse Duties:Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe.Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks (if certified).Assist in loading and unloading trucks.Perform other duties as assigned by the LeaderQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent.Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred.Ability to lift and move heavy objects.Basic computer skills, including experience with inventory management systems.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Good communication and teamwork abilities.Physical Requirements:Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.Capability to lift and carry items up to 15lbs-30lbs.Work Environment:Fast-paced warehouse setting.Exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels.
