Job description
Warehouse PositionUnloading trucks, tracking deliveries, pulling parts, issuing parts, receiving, cycle counting, and tracking warehouse inventory.ResponsibilitiesStaff the warehouse counterAccept deliveries, check in products/place into proper stocking locationsPick parts, issue parts to appropriate departmentsPerform cycle countAssist employees and contractors as "customers."Investigate discrepancies.QualificationsRequiredExperience with mobile equipment.A strong focus on safety.Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.Strong multitasking skills. Self-starter.Must be physically able to lift heavy parts.PreferredKnowledge of any inventory systems, Excel, and Outlook software.Forklift CertifiedKnowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and/or welding replacement parts helpful.Steel Dynamics, Inc., and all affiliated entities are equal opportunity employers.
