Warehouse ExpeditorCurrently seeking a Material Delivery Expeditor. The selected candidate will be part of a dynamic, growing, cross-functional, and geographically distributed team, responsible for supporting daily Supply Chain functions. This position is located on-site at our Melbourne, Florida office.Responsibilities:Supports and assists activities within multiple warehouse and inventory control disciplines across the Supply Chain and Production processes.Primarily responsible for the manual movement, monitoring, and delivery of materials between warehouse facilities and support Manufacturing Orders released by Production / Material Planners via company vehicles.Assist shipping and receiving team with the receipt of inbound material.Delivers received materials to respective areas for proper storage.Assist in the loading and unloading of truckload shipments.Assembles orders, checks against customer orders and reports incomplete orders.Read and follow work orders and verbal instructions to ascertain material items to be moved.Load, unload, and move materials within or near warehouse, stockroom, storage facility, or manufacturing floor.Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand, pallet jack, or forklift.Provide materials to and from inventory location or worksites to designated areas to include the manufacturing floor by use of hand truck, electric dolly, Forklift, or other tools as necessary.Able to lift 50 pounds, use rolling ladder going up to 12 feet, and reach for items on shelves.Able to spend considerable time standing, bending, and walking to and from the warehouse and other areas / buildings.Ability to prioritize and multitask daily workload.Ability to drive company van, manual transmission box truck.Operates pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment in a safe manner.Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.)Assist in packaging, assembling wood crating and loading large shipments.Qualifications:Required:US citizenship due to contract requirements and nature of the workAbility to obtain a SECRET security clearance, due to the nature of the work and contract requirementsHigh school diploma or GEDMinimum 2 years' experience in a warehouse environment supporting the manufacturing processForklift/reach truck experienceValid Driver's License requiredAbility to drive manual transmission 26ft box truckDesired:Experience working in a warehouse environment supporting the manufacturing process for a defense contractorActive SECRET security clearanceExperience using CostpointClass A CDLAbility to prioritize and multitask daily workBasic working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.)What You Can Expect:A culture of integrity.At CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do.
