Warehouse Inventory AssociateLocation: Elmhurst, IL Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour Schedule: 6:00 am – 2:30 pmWarehouse Inventory Associate Jobs That Hit Different. This opportunity lets you support warehouse operations through picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory handling while helping ensure orders are completed safely and accurately.Job DutiesOperate forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials throughout the warehousePick, pack, kit, and prepare products for shipmentUtilize handheld scanners and computer workstations for inventory transactionsReceive, store, and distribute materials and productsAssemble customer orders and stage for shippingLoad and unload containers, crates, and palletsOrganize inventory on racks, shelves, and storage locationsPerform cycle counts and assist with inventory accuracyMaintain a clean and safe work environmentEducation RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED preferred. Previous warehouse, logistics, or distribution training is beneficial.Experience RequirementsAbility to safely perform warehouse duties including picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory handling. Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately identify products, labels, and shipping documentation. Ability to use pallet jacks, hand trucks, RF scanners, or other warehouse equipment as required. Good organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently in fast-paced warehouse environments. Commitment to workplace safety, teamwork, and dependable attendance.Preferred QualificationsPrevious warehouse, distribution center, fulfillment, manufacturing, or logistics experience is preferred. Experience operating forklifts or other powered industrial equipment is beneficial. Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory procedures, shipping software, or RF scanning equipment is considered an asset. Individuals who demonstrate reliability, adaptability, teamwork, and attention to detail are well positioned for success as a Warehouse Inventory Associate.Physical CapabilitiesAbility to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive warehouse tasks throughout the shift. Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials and packages weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to safely work around warehouse equipment, conveyors, and moving inventory.
