Warehouse Inventory SpecialistAt AeroSafe Global, we are reframing the last mile as the first moment of care. Our mission is to ensure the integrity and delivery of life-saving medicines to every patient.The Warehouse Inventory Specialist has the primary responsibility of overseeing the warehousing and inventory of material. The specialist also ensures that optimal inventory is present, accurate and is ready for use. Coordinates disposals, returns, and reallocation of obsolete items in the inventory. Audits inventory and accurately maintains on a regular basis, provides findings to management. Coordinates with Buyers to keep up to date status of shipments and tracking information. Receives incoming materials and stores accordingly. Will also assist and process outgoing shipments.Duties & Responsibilities:Coordinates with inventory and warehouse personnel to ensure that adequate inventory levels are presentCounts number of packages or individual items, inspects for damage to outer container and notes any irregularities on carrier's bill of lading.Ensures that inventory counts are completed as directed and in a timely mannerDelivers material to specified plant locations and defined storage areasFills and replenishes materials required by the assembly lines according to daily production schedule to ensure operational success and efficiencies.Audits the inventory on a regular basis and provides results to managementMaintains designated storage areas and ensures they are clean and orderlyOrganizes and stages materials in warehouse and racking according to needDaily focus on safety while operating equipment to include property and pedestrian trafficLoads / Unloads freight using forklifts and or pallet jacksStages material and update's locations keeping slot integrityResponsible for inventory control data entry and accuracyPhysically verifies all products associated with documentationVerifies shipping order against the packing list prior to shipmentAccurately record physical weights and dimensionsPrepares required documentation for all International and Domestic shipmentsAble to receive and process outgoing small package requirementsEnsures safe transport of equipment and product by utilizing the appropriate packing materialsPerform other duties as assigned.Qualifications/Experience:High School Diploma or GED4+ years of inventory control experience (including cycle counts, physical inventories, transfer of inventory, shelf management) is preferredForklift certificationExperience with WMS software, a plusExperience with shipping and receiving goodsComputer Skills use of Email and ExcelHands on work in a warehouse.Use of tools: pallet jack and forkliftWilling to work OT and weekends when neededStrong attention to detailCuriosity and interest in learningAbility to adapt to changing prioritiesAble to read and comprehend simple instructionsMathematical skills as well as measurement calculationSelf-motivated and able to perform with little directionExceptional problem-solving skillsTravel:NonePhysical Requirements:While performing the duties of this job, frequently will be required to stand for extended periods, use hands/fingers repetitively, handle or feel objects, tools, or and talk or hear. Good hand-eye coordination.Also, occasionally will be required to walk, reach with hands and arms, bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch and lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include some close vision.
