Warehouse Manager | Allendale, MI
Salary Range: $73,000 - $112,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and shipping of raw materials and finished goods.
Implement and maintain inventory control systems to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
Manage and develop warehouse staff, including hiring, training, performance management, and scheduling.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards within the warehouse.
Optimize warehouse layout and processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and space utilization.
Collaborate with production, logistics, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth material flow and on-time delivery.
Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs and enhance operational performance.
Recommended Qualifications
5+ years of experience in warehouse management within a manufacturing environment
Proven ability to optimize inventory management systems and reduce carrying costs
Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
Demonstrated experience in leading and developing a diverse warehouse team
Proficiency in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP software
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
Bonus Qualifications
Experience with automated warehouse systems (AS/RS, AGVs).
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification.
Proficiency in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) like SAP EWM or Oracle WMS.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
