About Opportunity
An established organization in the logistics and warehousing industry is seeking an experienced, hands-on Warehouse Manager to oversee operations in the western Chicago suburbs.
We are looking for a results-driven leader who can build strong teams, drive operational excellence, maintain high safety standards, and deliver exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Lead daily warehouse operations, including receiving, shipping, inventory management, and order fulfillment.
Manage, coach, and develop warehouse personnel, including equipment operators and customer service staff.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, operational procedures, and quality standards.
Oversee labor planning, staffing, scheduling, overtime, and operational expenses.
Monitor warehouse productivity, inventory accuracy, and service performance.
Partner with internal teams to resolve operational issues and meet customer expectations.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and performance.
Maintain a safe, organized, and productive warehouse environment.
What We're Looking For
5+ years of warehouse operations experience in a similar environment.
3+ years of supervisory or management experience leading warehouse teams.
Strong understanding of shipping, receiving, inventory control, and warehouse safety.
Experience with forklifts, clamp equipment, and handheld RFID scanners.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and warehouse management systems (WMS).
Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Familiarity with OSHA regulations and AS400 systems preferred.
High school diploma or GED required.
Compensation & Schedule
Base Salary: $80,000–$95,000 annually, depending on experience.
Bonus: Eligible for a company bonus plan.
Location: Berkeley, IL (Chicago Western Suburbs).
Work Arrangement: 100% onsite.
Schedule: Full-time, regular business hours, with flexibility to oversee multiple shifts.
Travel: None required.
