Warehouse Manager | Coopersville, MI
Salary Range: $76,000 - $116,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity
We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Coopersville that are seeking skilled Warehouse Managers. These organizations are dedicated to maintaining high standards and are looking for professionals who can contribute effectively. Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order picking, and shipping of raw materials and finished goods.
Develop and implement inventory control procedures to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
Manage and mentor a team of warehouse staff, including scheduling, performance reviews, and training.
Optimize warehouse layout and material flow to improve efficiency and space utilization.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards.
Collaborate with production, logistics, and procurement teams to synchronize material movement and meet production schedules.
Implement and maintain a robust cycle counting program.
Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives for warehouse processes.
Recommended Qualifications
5+ years of warehouse management experience in a manufacturing environment
Proven ability to implement and manage inventory control systems (e.g., WMS, ERP)
Demonstrated leadership experience with a focus on team development and safety
Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
Bonus Qualifications
Experience with lean manufacturing principles (e.g., 5S, Kaizen).
Proficiency in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) beyond basic functionality.
Forklift certification and experience operating various material handling equipment.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
APICS certification (CSCP or CLTD).
