Warehouse Manager | Grand Haven, MI
Salary Range: $75,000 - $114,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity
We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Grand Haven that are seeking skilled Warehouse Managers. These organizations are dedicated to maintaining high standards and are looking for professionals who can contribute effectively. Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping.
Develop and implement inventory control strategies to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
Manage and mentor warehouse staff, including hiring, training, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions.
Optimize warehouse layout and material flow to improve efficiency and productivity.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies, maintaining a safe working environment.
Collaborate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to synchronize operations and meet demand.
Implement and manage warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory and streamline processes.
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and drive operational excellence.
Recommended Qualifications
5+ years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a management role within a manufacturing environment.
Proven expertise in inventory management systems (e.g., WMS, ERP) and best practices.
Demonstrated ability to optimize warehouse layouts, material flow, and space utilization.
Strong understanding of safety regulations (OSHA) and quality control standards in a manufacturing warehouse setting.
Experience with Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
Bonus Qualifications
Experience with automated warehouse systems (AS/RS, AGVs).
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification.
Proficiency in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) like SAP EWM, Oracle WMS, or Manhattan Associates.
Bilingual in Spanish and English.
OSHA 30-hour General Industry certification.
