Warehouse Manager | Montague, MI
Salary Range: $75,000 - $114,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity
We collaborate with manufacturing companies in the Montague region seeking Warehouse Managers. These employers partner with us because they want real insight into candidates—not just resumes. By joining our network, you gain access to roles worth considering.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials.
Implement and maintain robust inventory control systems to minimize discrepancies and optimize stock levels.
Manage and develop a team of warehouse staff, including hiring, training, performance management, and scheduling.
Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and company policies within the warehouse environment.
Optimize warehouse layout and processes to improve material flow, space utilization, and productivity.
Collaborate with production, logistics, and procurement departments to ensure timely material availability and seamless supply chain operations.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for warehouse operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
Recommended Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a management role within a manufacturing environment.
Proven experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.
Demonstrated knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and safety protocols for warehouse environments.
Bonus Qualifications
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
Experience with automated warehouse systems (AS/RS, AGVs)
Proficiency in a second language (e.g., Spanish, Mandarin)
Project management experience (e.g., PMP certification)
