Warehouse Manager | Paw Paw, MI
Salary Range:
$67,000 - $106,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping of raw materials and finished goods.
Implement and maintain inventory control systems to ensure accuracy, minimize waste, and optimize stock levels.
Manage and develop a team of warehouse staff, including hiring, training, performance management, and scheduling.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards within the warehouse.
Optimize warehouse layout and material flow to improve efficiency and productivity.
Collaborate with production, logistics, and quality departments to ensure seamless operations and timely delivery.
Analyze warehouse data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
Manage warehouse budget, including equipment maintenance, supplies, and labor costs.
Recommended Qualifications
5+ years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a management role within a manufacturing environment.
Proven expertise in inventory management systems (e.g., WMS, ERP) and best practices for material handling and storage.
Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and their application to warehouse processes for efficiency and waste reduction.
Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Proficient in data analysis and reporting to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive operational improvements.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Bonus Qualifications
Experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
Proficiency in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) like SAP EWM or Oracle WMS.
Familiarity with automation technologies (e.g., AS/RS, AGVs) in a warehouse setting.
Certification in supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CLTD).
