ProspectBlue is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee day-to-day warehouse operations in Dinwiddie, VA!
We're looking for a Warehouse Manager to lead all aspects of our warehouse operations — inbound and outbound logistics, inventory control, and team leadership — with a strong focus on operational excellence and continuous improvement.
What You'll Do
Lead end-to-end warehouse operations: receiving, storage, pick/pack, dispatch, and returns
Drive continuous improvement using Lean, 5S, Kaizen, or Six Sigma methodologies to reduce waste and improve throughput
Develop and maintain SOPs to ensure consistency and compliance across warehouse activities
Optimize warehouse layout and flow to maximize space and performance
Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and root cause analysis
Manage stock replenishment and slow-moving/obsolete inventory in coordination with procurement
Champion a safety-first culture, including audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations
Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing warehouse team, including scheduling and workforce planning
Track and report on KPIs like throughput, accuracy, on-time dispatch, and cost per unit
Manage warehouse budget and identify cost savings without compromising service
What You Bring
Proven experience leading warehouse operations in a fast-paced distribution or logistics environment
Experience with Operational Excellence methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, Kaizen); certification a plus
Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems and Microsoft Office; ERP experience preferred
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field — equivalent experience considered
