Warehouse Manager | Plainwell, MI
Salary Range: $76,000 - $116,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping.
Develop and implement warehouse policies and procedures to optimize efficiency and safety.
Manage inventory control processes, conduct regular cycle counts, and investigate discrepancies.
Lead, train, and mentor a team of warehouse staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Collaborate with production, logistics, and sales teams to ensure timely and accurate material flow.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards.
Optimize space utilization and layout within the warehouse to maximize storage capacity and workflow.
Recommended Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
5+ years of experience in warehouse management within a manufacturing environment
Proven experience with inventory management systems (e.g., WMS, ERP) and lean manufacturing principles
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team of warehouse personnel
Strong understanding of safety regulations and quality control standards in a manufacturing setting
Bonus Qualifications
APICS certification (CSCP or CLTD)
Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies
Proficiency in a second language (e.g., Spanish, Mandarin)
Project management experience, particularly with WMS implementations
