Warehouse Manager | Spring Lake, MI
Salary Range: $76,000 - $116,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity
We are partnering with organizations in Spring Lake that are seeking Warehouse Managers. These companies are committed to building strong teams and are looking for professionals who can lead initiatives effectively. Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and shipping of raw materials and finished goods.
Implement and maintain inventory control systems to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
Manage and develop a team of warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization to improve efficiency and workflow.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies within the warehouse environment.
Collaborate with production, logistics, and quality departments to streamline material flow and meet operational goals.
Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse productivity and reduce costs.
Recommended Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
5+ years of progressive experience in warehouse management, preferable within a manufacturing environment.
Proven expertise in lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Kaizen).
Demonstrated ability to manage inventory control systems and optimize warehouse layout and processes.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in supervising and developing a diverse workforce.
Proficiency in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.
Bonus Qualifications
Experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
Proficiency in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Forklift certification or experience operating other material handling equipment.
