Warehouse Manager | Walker, MI
Salary Range: $68,000 - $107,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity
We are partnering with organizations in Walker that are seeking Warehouse Managers. These companies are committed to building strong teams and are looking for professionals who can lead initiatives effectively. Key Responsibilities
Oversee all warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order picking, and shipping of raw materials and finished goods.
Develop and implement inventory control procedures to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
Manage and lead a team of warehouse personnel, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies within the warehouse environment.
Optimize warehouse layout and material flow to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
Collaborate with production, logistics, and supply chain teams to ensure timely and accurate material availability.
Recommended Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
5+ years of progressive experience in warehouse management, logistics, or distribution within a manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated expertise in Lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies.
Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.
Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of warehouse personnel.
Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and best practices for warehouse safety.
Bonus Qualifications
Experience with lean manufacturing principles (e.g., 5S, Kaizen).
Proficiency in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) beyond basic functionality.
Certification in supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CPIM).
Demonstrated ability to implement and manage safety programs.
