Description
The Merchandise Handler is responsible handling and maintaining the flow of materials and inventory according to department Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's), using a combination of manual labor and low complexity machinery/equipment.
The base salary for this position is $17.50/hr. In addition, other benefits include:

Job Responsibilities:
* Follow department SOP's to accurately count pick, pull and pack inventory
* Apply basic math skills to verify and adjust quantities, and accurately fulfill orders
* Operate a computer/tablet, RF scanner, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and/or manual tracking information to facilitate the flow of inventory through the DC
* Adhere to all company safety protocols, to ensure a safe work environment
* Lifting cases, cartons and inventory up to and down from conveyor lines or storage areas.
* Ability to lift up to 25 pounds continuously throughout the entire shift, including lifting items both above and below shoulder level
* Adhere to all company safety protocols, to ensure a safe work environment
* When necessary, individual is flexible and willing to work in other areas of the DC
Minimum Salary: $17.50
VS&Co provides a range of compensation for this role as shown. Your actual salary will be determined by a number of factors, including: your specific skills and experience, geographic region, or other relevant factors.
Qualifications
Job Qualifications:
* Must be at least 18 years of age
* High school diploma or equivalent preferred
* Prior experience in a distribution, warehouse, or logistics environment is a plus
* Attention to detail
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
* Ability to stand for the duration of shift with breaks
* Ability to multitask
* Self-motivated and team oriented
