Job description
Brucha Corp | Hampton, VA (Phenix Commerce Center, 30 Aberdeen Road)
Brucha Corp is the U.S. subsidiary of Brucha GmbH, an Austrian manufacturer of insulated metal panels (IMPs) used in commercial and industrial construction. Our Hampton facility receives IMP containers directly from our production facility in Austria, manages inventory, and coordinates outbound delivery to job sites across the eastern U.S. We are a small, fast-moving operation where every person owns a meaningful piece of the work.
About the Role
This role is the administrative and coordination backbone of the Hampton facility. The Warehouse Manager runs the floor. You run everything behind it: documentation, systems, customer communication, and the data that keeps inbound and outbound moving without surprises. You will be the primary office presence at the facility and the main point of contact forcarriers and our Austria-based shipping team on anything that requires tracking, scheduling, or follow-up.
What You'll Do
Manage inbound container documentation from Austria: coordinate with our customs broker on commercial invoices, packing lists, and entry documentation; track container ETAs from the port and communicate updates to the Warehouse Manager
Maintain the inventory tracking system (Odoo ERP): log inbound containers by product K-number, record dwell dates, close out outbound shipments; maintain data accuracy as the single source of inventory accuracy for what is in the building
Coordinate outbound delivery scheduling: confirm delivery windows with customers and job site contacts, dispatch carriers, generate bills of lading, and collect proof of delivery
Handle customer communication on order status, delivery timing, and exception resolution; elevate to the Warehouse Manager or Operations Manager as appropriate
Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions at the facility level: log vendor invoices, prepare outbound invoices per shipment, coordinate with the corporate finance team
Maintain facility records: equipment service logs, safety training documentation, vendor contacts, lease documentation
Assist the Operations Manager with ad hoc reporting, analysis, and project coordination as the business scales
What You Bring
2+ years in a logistics, freight coordination, customs brokerage, or warehouse administration role; import/export documentation experience is a strong advantage
Proficiency with an ERP or WMS system; ability to learn Odoo quickly (training provided)
Strong written communication skills; you will interact regularly with vendors, carriers, and Austrian colleagues in a professional, concise manner
Comfortable owning a process independently without step-by-step supervision
High attention to detail on data entry and document management -- an inventory discrepancy or a missed delivery window has real consequences
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Outlook, Teams)
Ability to work on-site at the Hampton facility full-time
Preferred
Familiarity with flatbed freight and/or construction material logistics
Experience with customs clearance processes and CBP entry documentation
Prior experience in a small-team environment where roles are fluid
Salary - $55k to $60k + performance bonus
