Job description
Utility TechnicianThe Utility Technician is a non-technical position responsible for various tasks involved in the refurbishment of marketing equipment, such as cleaning, disassembly, repetitive reassembly and the movement of equipment throughout the production process.Primary Accountabilities:Washing of equipment in Wash Bay, utilizing high pressure washer systems and componentsAssembly/disassembly of equipment & componentsManeuver large pieces of equipment safelyMaintain neat and accurate records for daily operationsFollow directionsMeet performance / productivity standardsUtilizing high pressure washerBasic Qualifications:18 years or olderUtilizing high pressure washerAssembly/Disassembly of various types of equipment and componentsMust maintain safe work habitSMust be able to write legiblyMust be able to lift up to 40 lbs. on an occasional basisUse of small power tools & pneumatic toolsAbility to effectively communicate with their managerRegular attendance and the ability to work overtimeHelpful Experience:Working in a high-speed manufacturing environment (e.g., team-oriented, deadline driven, high performance demands, fast-paced, etc.)Working with standards of operation (e.g., OSHA requirements on minimum/maximum speeds, signaling, putting products in appropriate areas, etc.)PepsiCo is an Equal Opportunity Employer: Female / Minority / Disability / Protected Veteran / Sexual Orientation / Gender Identity
