Warehouse Plant AdministratorPosition Summary: The Warehouse Plant Administrator is responsible for ensuring administrative functions are performed accurately and timely, to support shipping and receiving of products. This role is an important liaison between the plant, warehouse, carriers, and clients to ensure company success.Job Responsibilities:Prepare outgoing shipments and receive incoming shipments systemicallySchedule appointments with carriersPerform driver check in/out functionsShip via Uber Freight and other online softwarePerform data entry in inventory system (D365) and Microsoft Office spreadsheetsReceive, document, and distribute packages within the companyTrack and update status of outgoing shipmentsPerform customer service duties as necessary, maintaining good relationships with transportation companies and clients who are receiving goodsPosition Requirements/Qualifications:Excellent written and oral communication skillsAttention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks, under fast-paced conditionsExperience using Microsoft Office (Word/Excel) D365, Uber Freight experience a plus.Independent worker, self-starter with a professional manner and can-do attitudeOther Duties: Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
