Warehouse ReceiverThe Warehouse Receiver receives freight from suppliers. This position will report discrepancies, if any, on paperwork to Team Lead in a timely manner. They will assist with putting freight in storage or usage locations.Essential Functions:Unloads and inspects inbound and some outbound freightEnsures all paperwork is completedStocks shelves, pulls parts to fill production and sales ordersDelivers parts to production areaMoves hazardous waste from satellite area to storage areaAll other duties as assignedEssential Physical DemandsIntermittent lifting of parts weighing up to 50 lbs.Intermittent standing, sitting, walking, reaching, bending, pushing, pulling, crouching and stoopingFrequently moves light weight materialAbility to use forklifts properly for rack, skid movement and other dutiesAbility to use barcode scanners and barcode label scanning equipmentEssential Mental/Visual DemandsMust be able to read, write and communicate effectivelyRequires excellent peripheral visionNear, mid-range and far sight is essentialContinuous mental and visual attention is requiredExperience/Qualifications:Minimum Degree Required: High School diploma or equivalentTravel Requirements:N/APhysical Requirements:Regularly walks, stands, lifts up to 50 lbs., and does computer work.Occasionally sits.Independent Judgement:Performs tasks and duties under direct supervision, using well-defined policies and procedures. Work is reviewed by supervisor.
