Warehouse Receiving AssociateOur client, a gourmet food company, is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Receiving Associate to support daily inbound warehouse operations. This is a hands-on role responsible for receiving, inspecting, and putting away inbound product while maintaining accuracy, safety, and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:Inspect all incoming products for quality, temperature compliance, labeling accuracy, case counts, and expiration datesUnload inbound shipments from carriers and assist driving team as neededPut away product according to FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures while maintaining proper rotation and assisting in organizing warehouse space for incoming deliveriesOperate warehouse equipment including electric pallet jacks and forkliftsSign bills of lading (BOLs) and receiving documents and report discrepancies promptlyPerform cycle counts on high-risk, damaged, or short inventory itemsCross-train in other warehouse functions including order picking/fulfillment and facility support tasksFollow all HACCP, Food Defense, SOPs, and warehouse safety proceduresExperience and Qualifications:3+ years of warehouse/receiving experience (food industry preferred)Forklift and Electric Pallet jack experienceMust be comfortable working in cold storage/freezer environments (sub-zero conditions) for extended periodsStrong attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environmentMust pass background check, drug screen, and lift testAbility to read and understand EnglishAbility to lift 1–75 lbs regularly, and up to 100 lbs as needed
