We are passionate, we care about people, we perform at a superior level, and we protect others and our environments.CompensationThe base hourly rate for this position is $23.08. 3rd Shift, 10p-6a, Sunday-Thursday $2.00 shift differentialResponsibilities:Unloads all incoming materials essential for total roofing packageHelps coordinate other activities associated with service qualityUnload incoming and load outbound trucksComplete shipping and receiving paperwork relating to materials as requiredParticipate in physical inventory countsLoads and unloads all materials essential for shipping out roof packageVerify orders prior to loadingPick and organize all items required for shipping ordersRemove pallets of goods from inventory racking systemOperate forklift to move materials as requiredMust be willing to assist others when needs ariseInspects mobile equipment and completes the appropriate checklist(s)Follows JSA's, uses safe work practices, and always reports hazardous conditionsWear protective clothing & equipment as requiredFollow all Johns Manville safety procedures and policiesRequirements (education, skills and abilities)Must be able to tolerate heat/cold and outdoor conditions, good vision, hearing, speaking, and finger dexterity skills are required, as well as the ability to operate heavy equipment. The ability to set up and follow simple work plans and communicate with co-workers is essential. Basic computer skills are necessary.
