Warehouse SorterShift: 1st Shift 6:00am - 2:30pmReports To: Shipping ManagerDepartment: ProductionLocation: Mason, OhioGeneral Function: Ensures parts are being processed and handled consistently according to the company's quality practices and standards.Job DutiesVisually check all parts for defects and notify supervisor if parts have defectsIdentify defects that can be detected visually such as burrs, scratches, dings, draw lines, die marks, improperly located parts, bad buff, bad butler, rust missed operations, missing holes, paint, welds.Identify and isolate questionable or bad partsProvide proper disposition as well as proper documentation performed as required by Quality guidelines for isolated and/or non-conforming partsEnsure all parts in the area are either on a table, conveyor, slide, pallet, or in a container.Prepare and complete required documentation, forms, reports, labeling product, tagging of rejectsMay be required to load/unload trucksAll other duties as assigned by managementOther RequirementsPossess a valid tow motor operator's license issued by the companyMust be available to work overtime, including weekends as requiredKnowledge of proper inspection procedures and requirementsUse of manual tools and compressed air impact guns.Working ConditionsPlant/Warehouse environment, working on and around machinery.
