Warehouse SupervisorThis position will supervise and coordinate activities of Warehouse Associates and Department Leads engaged in all forms of warehouse activity. This position will report directly to the Warehouse Manager.Essential Functions:Oversee Department Leads and assist with overall warehouse responsibilities within assigned shiftAssist with warehouse staffing including the hiring and termination processingResponsible for monitoring budgeted expensesAssure each department within the shift has the direction needed to complete daily tasksWork with Department Leads and Warehouse Associates to resolve any issues or conflictsOversee all warehouse operations in absence of Warehouse ManagerResponsible for the overall operation of the warehouse and will report all activity to the Warehouse ManagerFollow all safety rules and company policies and ensure that all personnel in the department adhere to the rulesOther Duties and Responsibilities:Perform other duties as assignedWorking Conditions:Primarily working indoors, office environmentMay sit for several hours at a timeProlonged exposure to computer screensRepetitive use of hands to operate computers, printers, and copiersQualifications:Work Experience: 3 years of experience in shipping in a manufacturing environment and 2 years' experience in a Lead RoleEducation: High School DiplomaComputer Skills: Basic computer skills necessaryOrganization Skills: Maintain clean and organized work spaceCross-functional Skills: Ability to work and handle multiple job assignmentsCommunication Skills: Ability to communicate within a team settingPhysical, Mental and Visual Skills: Ability to walk, stand, sit, push, pull, reach above shoulders, fine repetitive motion, bend, stoop, climb ladder, ability to lift 50 pounds continuously for long periods of time up to 8 hours per dayPhysical Environment:Fast-paced manufacturing environmentCompetencies:Championing Customer NeedsEstablishing RelationshipsManaging TimeDriving for ResultsDisplaying Technical ExpertiseCoordinating Project ActivitiesProblem-solving skillsAnalytical skillsSupervisory Responsibility:This role will oversee an operational function within Warehouse facility.Physical Demands:Fast-paced manufacturing environment, ability to tolerate a variable climate; occasionally lifting 30-75 poundsPosition Type/Expected Hours of Work:This is a full-time, 2nd shift, salary position, and hours/days of work are decided by production schedules and reporting manager.Preferred Education and Experience:Education: 2-year degree in manufacturing-related fieldWork Authorization/Security Clearance:Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.Pay Group : AAP/EEO Statement:Lippert provides equal employment opportunity to all team members and applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, pregnancy, national origin, ancestry, age, genetic information, disability, citizen status, protected veteran status, military service, marital status or any other legally protected category as established by federal, state, or local law.
