Job description
2nd Shift Warehouse SupervisorThe 2nd Shift Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations and leading a team to ensure company and customer expectations for service, quality, safety, and productivity are consistently achieved. This role partners closely with Operations leadership to drive performance, maintain operational excellence, and support a positive team environment.What You'll DoSupervise, train, provide performance feedback and assign duties of direct reports to ensure productivity, efficiency, and effectivenessManage operational procedures to include the incoming and outgoing shipments, handle the organization of merchandise, and maintain warehouse inventoryPlan production schedules and resource allocation for completion of job assignments while keeping time and production recordsTrack and send reports to designated plant personnelTrack warehouse activities including sales, record control, and purchasing to ensure availability of productsWork with machinery and material handling equipmentResolve employee issues and maintain open lines of communication with all levels of the organizationPerform assigned projects as instructedWhat You'll Bring2 years warehouse or logistics leadership experienceExperience with Warehouse Management System (WMS)Strong conflict management skillsAbility to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage sites or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius in dry storage sites while wearing company provided personal protective equipment and freezer gearMust be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs.; weight may be more dependent upon facilityAbility to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if neededBilingual (English/Spanish) preferredMust be comfortable with various noise levels, at times, can be loudPay Range:$60,600.00 - $102,200.00Why Lineage?
