Warehouse SupervisorINVISTA Polypropylene in Longview, Texas is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to support warehouse operations in a continuous manufacturing environment. In this role, you will lead a team responsible for inventory management, material availability, and warehouse execution while supporting safe and reliable operations. You will partner with employees across the site to improve warehouse processes, support inventory accuracy, and ensure materials are available to meet business needs.The Warehouse Supervisor reports to the Operations Manager and leads a team responsible for supporting manufacturing operations through effective inventory management, material availability, and warehouse execution. You will work closely with maintenance, reliability, operations, production planning, procurement, sourcing, process engineering, and training resources to support the site's operational objectives.This role participates on the warehouse business team, a cross-functional group focused on improving coordination between maintenance, reliability, operations, and warehouse personnel to support material availability and operational effectiveness.Responsibilities include:Supervising the raw-material and spare-parts warehouse, leading two warehouse employees and supporting their growth and development through day-to-day coaching and leadership.Defining, managing, and continuously improving processes that ensure operations and maintenance teams receive the right materials at the right time to support product quality and process reliability.Partnering with the site reliability team to establish and maintain appropriate spare-parts inventory using SAP and Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) systems.Monitoring inventory levels, critical purchase orders, and invoices while collaborating with other departments to remove barriers and improve processes.Identifying and implementing process improvements and best practices that enhance warehouse safety, compliance, efficiency, and inventory accuracy.Managing costs associated with warehouse contractors, off-site storage, and vendor-managed inventory while helping ensure efficient warehouse operations.Developing and strengthening relationships with preferred suppliers to create mutually beneficial partnerships and deliver value to the business.Supporting day-to-day warehouse activities when needed, including receiving, staging, material movement, and forklift operation.Supporting warehouse operations during outages, shutdowns, and other business-critical events that may require occasional extended hours or weekend coverage.Required experience includes:Supervising or formally leading employees.Working in a spare-parts and/or raw-material warehouse.Familiarity with Lean principles and continuous improvement concepts, such as 5S.Manufacturing or industrial warehouse experience.Experience with inventory control, cycle counting, and material optimization.Experience leading 5S, Lean, or other continuous improvement activities.Experience using SAP, Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), or another ERP system.Experience managing supplier relationships, purchase orders, or warehouse inventory processes.Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel for inventory tracking, reporting, and data analysis.Experience supporting the implementation, optimization, or adoption of warehouse, inventory, or business systems.As a Koch company, INVISTA has a long history of working to make the world around you a better place.
