Job description

Warehouse SupervisorKey ResponsibilitiesSupervise warehouse staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, coaching, and performance management.Oversee daily shipping, receiving, logistics, staging, and kitting activities to ensure accuracy, quality, and on-time execution.Coordinate the picking, staging, and kitting of raw materials, components, packaging, and other items required to support production schedules and customer orders.Ensure kits and staged materials are complete, accurate, properly labeled, and delivered to production or outbound areas according to schedule.Review bills of lading, shipping notices, production requirements, orders, and related documentation to determine workflow and shipping priorities.Coordinate the movement of materials between receiving, storage, kitting, production, staging, and outbound shipping areas.Partner with Production, Planning, Customer Service, Transportation, and other departments to address material shortages, order priorities, and changing production or shipping needs.Plan and optimize warehouse storage, material staging, trailer loading, routing, dock activity, and weight distribution.Monitor inventory accuracy and investigate discrepancies involving staged materials, kits, shipments, shortages, and inventory variances.Maintain records of shipments, inventory variances, unfilled orders, weights, freight charges, dock appointments, and other logistics-related activity.Inspect loading, material handling, and warehouse processes and coordinate equipment maintenance or repairs as needed.Verify driver permits, shipping documentation, and other requirements for inbound and outbound loads.Standardize warehouse, logistics, and kitting procedures and support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, accuracy, efficiency, and material flow.Identify and resolve workflow issues, service concerns, material shortages, and shipping discrepancies and implement corrective actions when needed.Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and compliant warehouse environment.Adhere to all MAPEI policies, safety rules, and work procedures.Perform other related duties as assigned.What's in it for youIn this role you will earn a competitive annual base salary based on your experience and qualifications.Biannual "Rewards for Results" bonuses, awarded at discretion based on plant performance.Our employees have the option of a highly competitive medical plan with minimal monthly employee contributions.17 days of paid sick and vacation time annually (days are prorated in year one).401(k) retirement plan with up to 6% company match.Excellent dental and vision programs, flexible spending accounts, employer-paid life insurance, and free telemedicine physician services.Various other employee-focused programs and perks, including tuition reimbursement, discounted home and auto insurance programs, supplemental life insurance, and more.Position Specific DetailsYou will earn between $75,000 to $85,000, based on your experience and qualifications.If you are assigned to the 2nd or 3rd shift, you will also receive an additional premium shift differential of $192.00 biweekly, which equates to $5,000 annually.QualificationsMinimum: High school diploma or equivalent required.Warehouse, logistics, or supply chain, with kitting experience.Supervisory experience, or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and/or training.Comfortable working in a hands-on, fast-paced warehouse environment.Forklift experience.Strong computer proficiency and comfort with warehouse systems.Effective oral and written communication skills.Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. independently and up to 100 lbs. with assistance.Ability to stand for extended periods.Forklift certification preferred.Ability to work assigned shift schedule (1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift).Equal Opportunity Employer – Minority/Female/Disability/Veteran (M/F/D/V)MAPEINAbout UsMAPEI is a world leader in the manufacturing of solutions of excellence for the building industry.
