The Warehouse Supervisor will lead a team of approximately 8–15 employees supporting receiving, warehousing, kitting, and shipping functions. This role is responsible for ensuring materials and products move through the warehouse efficiently and accurately while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, inventory accuracy, Lean principles, and on-time delivery to customers.Interstates seeks ambitious, innovative individuals who enjoy working with people, solving problems, and improving processes. This position provides an excellent opportunity to grow your leadership abilities while playing a critical role in supporting our manufacturing operations and customer commitments.Responsibilities:Lead and coordinate the daily activities of a team of 8–15 employees across receiving, warehousing, kitting, and shipping functionsProvide direction, coaching, and support to warehouse team members while promoting accountability and teamworkMaintain direct responsibility for on-time delivery of materials and products to customersOversee receiving activities to ensure materials are received, inspected, documented, and put away accurately and efficientlyCoordinate warehouse operations, material movement, kitting, staging, and shipping to support production schedules and customer requirementsEnsure inventory is accurately maintained and materials are available when needed to support manufacturing operationsMonitor warehouse performance and identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, efficiency, inventory accuracy, and delivery performanceApply Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles to eliminate waste, improve workflow, and optimize warehouse processesEstablish and maintain organized, efficient, and standardized warehouse processes and work areasIdentify and resolve material shortages, inventory discrepancies, shipping issues, and other operational challengesCollaborate with Production, Purchasing, Project Management, and other teams to ensure material and delivery requirements are metMonitor workloads, staffing, and priorities to ensure resources are aligned with production and customer needsAssist with onboarding, training, and ongoing development of warehouse team membersMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while holding team members accountable to safety expectationsTrack and communicate key warehouse metrics, including on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, productivity, and other relevant performance indicatorsPromote teamwork, accountability, and Interstates' Core ValuesParticipate in and lead continuous improvement initiatives that improve safety, quality, productivity, and customer satisfactionOther duties may be assignedQualifications:3+ years of warehouse, logistics, distribution, material handling, or related experience preferredPrevious supervisory, leadership, lead, mentoring, or training experience preferredStrong understanding of warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory management, kitting, staging, and shippingDemonstrated experience applying Lean principles and continuous improvement methodologiesStrong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesAbility to effectively lead, coach, and develop a teamStrong communication and interpersonal skillsExperience working with inventory management systems, ERP systems, or warehouse management systems preferredStrong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy and qualityAbility to analyze operational data and use performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvementAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionallyCompensation:Target compensation: $65,000–$80,000 annually, depending on experience and qualificationsWhat We Can Offer:Weekly PayCompany-Sponsored Holiday & Team Building CelebrationsWork/Life Balance (45-50hr/week)Family-Like Culture – A team that cares about you as a whole person, not just what you do for workAdvancement OpportunitiesTraining and Career DevelopmentBenefits:Health, Dental, Vision, and Life InsuranceCompany-Paid Short- and Long-Term DisabilityPaid Time Off and HolidaysMatching 401(k) ProgramPay-for-Performance BonusesHSA ContributionsInterstates may collect personal information as part of your job application, such as your contact details, work history, education, and any information you provide.
