Shift Supervisor - Packaging OperationsSt. Peters, MO $27.00/hr 3rd Shift | Sunday - Thursday | 11:00 PM - 7:30 AMAre you an experienced manufacturing leader who thrives in a fast-paced production environment? We are seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead packaging operations, drive team performance, and ensure the safe, efficient, and compliant production of high-quality products.This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader who enjoys developing employees, improving processes, and creating a positive, accountable team culture.What You'll DoAs the Shift Supervisor, you will oversee the daily operations of the packaging department, leading a team of approximately 25-40 associates while ensuring production, quality, safety, and efficiency goals are achieved.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and oversee daily packaging operations to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant productionSupervise, coach, mentor, and develop packaging associatesPromote a culture of teamwork, accountability, respect, and continuous improvementEnsure production schedules and operational targets are metMonitor productivity, quality, labor utilization, and shift performanceAssign work, balance staffing resources, and adjust priorities based on business needsInterpret and ensure compliance with Bills of Materials (BOMs), Manufacturing Instructions (MIs), SOPs, and work instructionsComplete production reporting and maintain accurate operational documentationPartner with Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse, Planning, and Engineering teams to resolve issues and improve performanceLead facility-wide 5S initiatives to maintain an organized, clean, and efficient workplaceChampion safety initiatives through coaching, observations, and corrective actionsConduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, recognize achievements, and address performance concernsIdentify and implement continuous improvement opportunities that enhance safety, quality, efficiency, and employee engagementWhat We're Looking ForRequired QualificationsPrevious supervisory or management experience in a manufacturing, packaging, or production environmentProven ability to lead, motivate, coach, and develop teamsStrong understanding of manufacturing operations and production schedulingExcellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentProficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer systemsPreferred QualificationsExperience working with lot-controlled productsKnowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)SAP experienceFamiliarity with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologiesPhysical & Work Environment RequirementsAbility to stand and walk throughout an 8-hour shiftAbility to lift, push, pull, and move packaging materials as neededComfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, noise, and varying temperaturesWillingness to work overtime and occasional Saturdays based on business needsMaintain excellent attendance and dependabilityCore CompetenciesLeadership & Employee Development Safety Leadership Operational Excellence Lean Manufacturing Team Building Communication & Collaboration Accountability Organization & Planning Problem Solving Quality Focus Continuous Improvement Results OrientationWhy Join Us?Competitive pay at $27.00/hourStable full-time scheduleOpportunity to lead a large production teamCareer growth and development opportunitiesCollaborative and safety-focused cultureHands-on leadership role with direct impact on operational successIf you're a motivated manufacturing leader with a passion for developing teams, driving results, and fostering a culture of operational excellence, we'd love to hear from you.
