Job description
Warehouse Worker/ Blank Press TechnicianIngleside, IllinoisType: TemporaryWarehouseSalary: $19.8 Per HourJob Duties:Converts labels using job ticket information.Checks material received for proper specifications.Follows process and quality plans.Completes all process and quality records.Operates the 7" and/or 10" blank presses.Follows safe practices and keep work area in a clean and orderly condition.Ensures quality labels are converted in the time outlined on the job ticket.Performs daily, weekly and monthly preventative machine maintenance.Responsible for identifying problems that may cause a delay in meeting deadlines.Maintains a log of problems as they occur, to review at team meetings, e.g. quality issues, material issues, poor specifications, employee issues, etc.Maximizes productivity and minimize waste in every action performed.Correct and stop any dangerous activity that may cause damage to the product, process, personnel and/or environment.Requirements:Autonomy – Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Business Acumen – Ability to grasp and understand business concepts and issues.Communication, Oral – Ability to communicate effectively with others using the spoken word.Communication, Written – Ability to communicate in writing clearly and concisely.Decision Making – Ability to make critical decisions while following company procedures.Detail Oriented – Ability to pay attention to the minute details of a project or task.Initiative – Ability to make decisions or take actions to solve a problem or reach a goal.Judgment – Ability to formulate a sound decision using the available information.Problem-Solving – Ability to anticipate problems, recognize and accurately evaluate signs of a problem and analyzes current procedures for possible improvements.Safety-Oriented – Ability to observe safety and security procedures while using equipment and materials properly, determines appropriate action beyond guidelines and reports potentially unsafe conditions.Time Management – Ability to utilize the available time to organize and complete work within given deadlines.Working Under Pressure – Ability to complete assigned tasks under stressful situations.Driven to succeed – Burning desire to win.Perseverance – Never gives up and refuses to lose.Intelligent – Ability to learn quickly, internalize and retain.Resourceful and Creative2nd ShiftMonday-Thursday 3pm – 230am$19.80/hr (includes 1.80 shift diff.)Background/Drug test/EverifyIngleside, IL 60041Please send resumes to and employees of Elite Staffing must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the United States.Elite Staffing, Inc. is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
