Projects may include cabinets, doors, frameworks, flooring, freestanding displays, fixtures, and other wood-based exhibit structures.Experienced carpenters are encouraged to apply. We will also consider entry-level or developing candidates who have relevant construction, woodworking, cabinetry, or hands-on assembly experience and are motivated to learn.ResponsibilitiesBuild and repair cabinets, doors, frameworks, flooring, fixtures, displays, and other exhibit componentsMeasure, cut, assemble, and fasten wood and related materialsPerform laminate work, millwork, benchwork, and freestanding assemblyUse hand tools, power tools, woodworking equipment, and table saws safelyAssemble materials using screws, nails, dowel pins, adhesives, and other approved fastening methodsRead and follow measurements, plans, shop drawings, and project specificationsComplete detailed work requiring accurate measurements and close tolerancesInspect completed work for quality, accuracy, and proper fitManage multiple assignments while meeting project deadlinesMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work areaWork additional hours or overtime when required during peak project periodsQualificationsPrevious experience in carpentry, construction, cabinetry, millwork, fixture assembly, woodworking, or a related hands-on tradeFamiliarity with tape measures, hand tools, power tools, and basic construction methodsAbility to learn and follow plans, shop drawings, measurements, and verbal instructionsStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanshipAbility to work independently and manage multiple tasksDependable attendance and ability to follow through on assigned workCommitment to following all workplace and equipment safety proceduresEntry-level candidates with relevant hands-on experience and a strong willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.Preferred QualificationsExperience with laminate installation or fabricationCabinetry or custom fixture experienceMillwork or exhibit-production experienceExperience operating a table saw and woodworking machineryForklift certification or previous forklift experiencePhysical And Work Environment RequirementsAbility to stand and walk for most of the workdayAbility to frequently bend, reach, twist, and perform repetitive movementsAbility to perform heavy lifting as required by the assignmentAbility to safely handle tools, materials, and fabricated componentsAbility to work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environmentAbility to work overtime when required by project schedulesBelmar Integrated Logistics is an equal opportunity employer.
