Wastewater OperatorWe are a global leader in precious metals refining, recycling, and advanced industrial manufacturing is seeking two experienced Wastewater Operators to join our North Attleboro facility. This organization supports critical industries including electronics, medical, automotive, and industrial manufacturing through environmentally responsible processing and recovery operations.Position Summary: The Wastewater Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining the wastewater treatment system safely and efficiently to support production operations and ensure compliance with local discharge permits and environmental regulations.Qualifications:High school diploma or GED requiredMassachusetts Grade 2 Industrial Wastewater License required1–2+ years of wastewater treatment, chemical processing, electrochemical refining, or plating experience preferredExperience handling hazardous chemicals including acids and basesStrong math, chemistry, and troubleshooting skillsMechanical aptitude with pumps, piping, gauges, filters, and hand toolsForklift experience preferred (training available)Responsibilities Include:Monitoring and recording wastewater flow systemsOperating pumps, pH meters, flow meters, and filtration systemsChanging filters and performing routine maintenanceCollecting samples for lab testingMaintaining chemical inventories and suppliesAssisting with waste solution handling and disposalFollowing all SOPs, OSHA, environmental, and safety regulationsMaintaining a clean and organized work areaPhysical & Environmental Requirements:Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and move materials using handling equipmentAbility to climb ladders, bend, twist, push, and work in confined spacesComfortable working around heat, dust, noise, and industrial fumesThis is an excellent opportunity to join a stable, safety-focused manufacturing operation with competitive pay and long-term career potential.
