Wastewater TechnicianWe are seeking a dedicated Wastewater Technician to join our team in Hatfield, PA. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work on the 1st shift, approximately from 7 am to 3 pm. The role involves processing and treating both hazardous and non-hazardous wastewater using various reagents and filtration systems. Responsibilities also include separating waste types, managing warehouse placements, and handling tanker trucks, including unloading materials, attaching hoses, and occasional cleanouts.Responsibilities:Process and treat hazardous and non-hazardous wastewater using various reagents.Separate hazardous waste from non-hazardous waste and organize them in the warehouse accordingly.Run filtration systems effectively.Handle tanker trucks, including unloading materials, attaching hoses, and performing occasional cleanouts.Essential Skills:Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Environmental Science, Biology, or Chemistry, or one year of experience in a related industry.A positive mindset and a strong desire to work.Additional Skills & Qualifications:OSHA 40 certification is a plus.Over two years of experience in wastewater treatment is advantageous.Familiarity with hazardous waste and wastewater management.Work Environment:This position offers an entry to mid-level opportunity to gain experience with a reputable team in the environmental industry. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
