We Are SeekingTeam Gilbert has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated professional to fill the position of Wastewater Utility Worker III. The primary functions of this position include:Coordinating and training crews on the installation, maintenance, and repair of the Town's wastewater systemOperating heavy equipment — including dump trucks, backhoes, excavators, CCTV equipment, and combination sewer cleanersMonitoring and troubleshooting wastewater and reclaimed water distribution systems, recommending corrective actions and preventive maintenanceInspecting and repairing collection assets such as gravity mains, force mains, manholes, and lift stationsResponding to emergencies and after-hours callouts on a 24-hour, on-call basisFor a full list of duties, please review the job description.This is an FLSA Non-Exempt, at-will position with the Town of Gilbert.Tentative Recruitment Timeline:Posting Closes: October 6, 2026Tentative In-Person Interviews: Week of October 12, 2026Tentative Start Date: November 9, 2026This timeline is provided as an estimate and is subject to change, depending on business needs.
